Two-Party System Will Strengthen Democracy - Atiku
Atiku, who visited in company of other People's Democratic Movement (PDM) leaders, said he was fully in support of APC/ nPDP merger as it indicates that Nigeria is gradually moving towards a two-party state.
He said a situation whereby a political party is strong while others are weak would not augur well for democracy.
In his remarks, Governor Kayode Fayemi said Atiku sided with the people in the struggle for democracy and that he had distinguished himself as a lover of people, even while in the PDP.
Fayemi noted that Atiku had come for a wedding ceremony and had decided to stop by.
