Bring hither the broom
On dirt his feet shouldn't rule
Gather everyone as though a brood
Sweep the streets hitherto awash with gloom.
'No! No', he pleaded and stooped
His sleeves and trousers rolled up with swiftness.
'Place me not above you like a Highness
The coup against our people must be nuked.'
In earnest began the work
Sterling direction and leadership he continues to give
With Collective Rescue Mission the rock of gloom rolls off the cliff
All that's left is progress born on the wings of hard work.
